After the initial contributions of EMITE Ing to 3GPP, CTIA and COST2100, an agreement between the Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC) grants EMITE Ing ETSI access as full member of 3GPP RAN#4, while provides access of CTTC to the standardization activities of CTIA RCSG. This makes EMITE Ing the only Spanish company on the selected standardization subcommittee.

The Spanish company EMITE Ing presented this week in China its technology about testing fourth generation cellphones.
EMITE Ing presented in CISMEF 2009, in Canton (China), its MIMO Analyzer E300 series, which allows to test the proper performance of next generation cellphones technology.

As expected in the roadmap, the Series E300 is released this week at the CISMEF 2009 exibition in Guangzhou (China). In an unprecedented development, the E300 includes the capabilities of measuring TRP and TIS for a wide variety of Rayleigh, Ricean, isotropic and non-isotropic environments, on top of the existing ones for E100/E200. As testing becomes a major part of future success for 4G systems, the unique combination of features of E300 will undoubdtedly mark a milestone for the wireless communications arena.
