Over 850 delegates from telecommunication companies worldwide met at Xian (China) in October and selected EMITE Ing, in co-operation with AT4 wireless, to be the first company to run MIMO OTA Throughput tests over the 5 available LTE terminals worldwide using an E400 mode-stirred reverberation chamber and a recently released E2010 LTE-enabled Base Station Emulator. These tests will be ready by the end of the year, and will bring some light into the behaviour of the novel LTE handsets and dongles under a variety of circumstances.

EMITE Ing, in co-operation with AT4 wireless, will be the first company to run MIMO OTA throughput tests over the five available LTE terminals worldwide using an E400 mode-stirred reverberation chamber and a recently released E2010 LTE-enabled Base Station Emulator.

As part of its new role on international standardization bodies, EMITE Ing presented a contribution to the standardization of MIMO OTA using mode-stirred reverberation chambers at the 3GPP TSG RAN WG4 Adhoc#2 meeting in Dublin, Ireland, on April 2010. The contribution, attached below, presented the novel sample selection method for arbitrary channel model emulation using MSC.
